A Capital Campaign to Relocate the DDD Foundation Dental Clinic
From Conception to Construction - Putting Down New Roots
For nearly 20 years, the DDD Foundation has sat tucked away in an office park near Brookhaven. However, we learned this year that our clinic’s landlord has plans to redevelop, and has given the clinic until December 31, 2020, to vacate the property. This created an immediate need for the DDD Foundation to search for a new home and raise the dollars needed to fund the cost of relocation.
It is with great anticipation and hope for the future that the DDD Foundation has launched an urgent capital campaign to raise $806,500 to fund its move to a new location at Century Center off Clairmont Road, just one exit up from our current location. The Foundation has recently signed a 10-year lease on a new property that will be renovated and transformed into a working dental practice.
This move will provide a number of benefits to the community that the Foundation serves. The new space will allow for an additional patient treatment room, enabling the clinic to increase its capacity to serve patients by 20 percent. Community support of this effort is essential to ensuring our neighbors and loved ones with developmental disabilities maintain access to the compassionate and skilled care they receive at the DDD Foundation.
But we can’t do it without your help! We are asking for our donors to help with this move. Capital campaign donor names will be beautifully displayed on the donor recognition monitor in the new clinic’s waiting room.
If you prefer to remain anonymous, or if you would like for your wall recognition to be in honor of your patient or in memory of someone, please just let us know.
